Grading is about more than points in a gradebook. It's about whether a grade tells the truth, or gets tangled up with late work, missing homework, and behavior. When grades are accurate, they become a tool for learning instead of a source of stress.
In Grading Smarter, Not Harder, you'll examine what a grade should really measure and build tools you can use right away. Drawing on the work of Myron Dueck, you'll audit your current practices, write student-friendly learning targets, redesign tests so retesting becomes real learning, rethink penalties for late work and homework, use creative projects as evidence of learning, and lead grading reform that lasts.
This is a 15-hour, instructor-led course with ongoing instructor support.
