Luminary Award 2026 Application

The GenerationAI Luminary Award celebrates visionary educators who are transforming learning environments through innovative applications of artificial intelligence. These trailblazers are reshaping education by leveraging AI to enhance student engagement, personalize learning experiences, and develop crucial skills for an AI-enhanced world. Representing the GenerationAI Coalition Partner organizations, our ten honorees demonstrate exceptional leadership, creativity, and impact in navigating the educational possibilities of generative AI.
Award winners will receive free ISTELive conference registration, travel and lodging for the conference, a monetary award of $500, and a trophy. Award recipients will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, during a reception at the ISTELive conference in Orlando, FL. This celebration will showcase their contributions and inspire others to explore the transformative potential of AI in education. Those who are interested in being considered for this award must be able to attend the entire conference, beginning on Sunday, June 28 and leaving on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
All applications must be received by Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST.

In order to be eligible for the GenerationAI Luminary Award, applicants must be working in a full-time capacity for a school or district in the U.S. or U.S. territories that serves students in grades PK-12.
